The pattern in the shoes means that they grip the knobs on the pedals well. The sole and top are the perfect mix of durable and flexible, which provides good comfort. The sole in the shoe can be removed and changed. The toe of the shoe is reinforced, so in case you hit a rock or a tree, your toes willbe protected. This shoe can be used with flat pedals but also with SPD cleats.
